University High School - Turning 40 Years Old!

WelcomeJoin us in celebrating and honoring the past forty years of excellence at University High School with a Homecoming weekend celebration. From Spirit Week, Pep Rallies, meeting old friends, to a memorable football game, this will definitely be a weekend to remember. We are inviting you to nominate your fellow classmates to become part of the University High School Hall of Fame. We are looking for nominees who have impacted and made their mark on the world in different ways. Be part of this exciting weekend by contributing pictures, memories, stories, and nominations.

University High School – 40 Years of Excellence

UHS 40th ANNIVERSARY SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: 

Thursday, November 5th, 2009

  • Spirit Night (3:00-9:00, UHS Campus) 

Reminisce about the good old days as classes compete for spirit points and transform
the school with incredible art and decorations. 

Friday, November 6th, 2009

  • Open House and Dinner (4:00-7:00, UHS Campus and Crossroads)

Visit your old classrooms, see your former teachers, and preview Uni’s extracurricular
programs, followed by food with friends. 

  • Dinner (5:30-7:00, UHS Crossroads)

Dinner will be provided by In N Out and Tacos & Co at a cost of $6 per plate.
Presales will be available on the website shortly.

  • Homecoming Assembly (7:00-8:00, UHS Football Field)

Stay for the festivities as UHS students perform and celebrate the Trojan football
team in preparation for the big game.  Be sure to check out the brand new UHS Hall of
Fame commemorating our famous classmates. 

  • Alumni Reception (8:00, UHS Multi-Purpose Room)

Irvine Public Schools Foundation will be hosting a reception for alumni students
and teachers. Come spend some time with old friends, catch up with former
teachers, and talk about the good old days. Historical League Championship
banners will be available for auction. 

Saturday, November 7th, 2009

  • Pancake Breakfast and Alumni Gathering (8:00, UHS Blacktop)

We will be offering a pancake breakfast beginning at 8:00. Come join us and eat
breakfast with old friends, and possibly teachers. Reconnect with friends from
high school over a delightful pancake breakfast. 

  • Community Kiddy Carnival (9:00-12:00, UHS Field)

Come have fun with pony rides, bounce houses, carnival booths, and more! 

  • Alumni Photo (12:00, UHS Field/Bleachers)

All the alumni will be asked to come together at 12:00 by the bleachers to take a large
group photo. 

  • Homecoming Football Game (1:00-4:00, UHS Field)

Watch as your beloved Uni Trojans take on the Beckman Patriots in the 40th annual
Homecoming Game.
